Other Birds that I’ve photographed while out in the field — songbirds, woodpeckers, hummingbirds, shorebirds, cranes, herons, etc.
Often when I’m out looking for owls, I find myself with photogenic opportunities with other birds. Sometimes, if i’m having bad owl luck, I’ll just go out and see what I can find and capture. Some of my favorite experiences have come from mountain bluebirds, wrens, woodpeckers, nighthawks, and hummingbirds.
